Healthy & Delicious Breakfast

Below is the recipe for my delicious banana mashed potatoes.  I eat this for breakfast a few times a week and have also brought it to dinners as a side dish.  All of the ingredients below are great to incorporate into your healthy diet.  This meal will not only keep you full and satisfied but provides you with a good source of antioxidants and potassium.

Banana Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients for one serving:

  • 1/2 sweet potato
  • 1/2 banana
  • handful of blueberries
  • 1/4 cup of soymilk or almond milk
  • drizzle of honey
Stab the sweet potato with your fork a few times and put it into the microwave for 3-5 minutes.  Wait a few minutes for the potato to cool and peel off the skin.  Take your banana and the sweet potato and mash it up in a bowl.  Add in your soy milk/almond milk and stir.  Put on your toppings and enjoy!

*Sometimes I put walnuts on top for an extra crunch

Get Long Lashes and Locks the Natural Way!

Do you want longer eyelashes and hair without paying for extensions?  Try my all natural method below.

What you will need:
- 100% avacado oil (available at any health food stores or online)
- 100% olive oil

In a bowl mix 1/4 of a cup of olive oil and 1/4 of a cup avacado oil together.  Stir up the mixture and put it all over your detangled hair.  With clean hands scoop whatever is left in the bowl and swipe oil across your lashes.  WARNING: do not get this in your eyes!  I have gotten it in my eyes before and it doesn't bug me but as a disclaimer I warned you.

Leave on for 5 minutes to an hour before you hop in the shower and rinse. 

Not only will this promote hair growth but it will also leave your hair looking and feeling shiny.  You can also use this to moisturize your hands.

My favorite salty snack at the moment is SKINNY POP POPCORN.  It tastes so much better than that buttered down greasy crap from the movie theaters.
